PRODUCT FEATURES

We prepare Goldenseal extract from the rhizome and rootlet of Certified Organic Hydrastis canadensis plants. We only use cultivated Goldenseal in order to preserve wild-growing populations of this threatened plant. To assure optimal extraction of the herb’s bioactive compounds, the rhizome and rootlets are hand-dug in the autumn, meticulously cleaned and carefully shade-dried, then thoroughly extracted.

The herb is extracted in small batches with Certified Organic cane alcohol to maintain the balance of phytochemicals as they exist in the plant. We assure herb identity via macroscopic and organoleptic analysis, then confirm it through methods such as HPTLC fingerprinting specific to each herb. Our liquid extracts are easily dosed, taken in liquid form and may be added to water or other liquid for taste.

All herbs used in our products undergo a series of rigorous quality checks.

Depending on the product, more than one country of origin may be listed for an herb. Your product may contain herbs from any of those approved sources. Find more information about our ethical sourcing practices.
